It this era of Scientific and Technological revolution, we realize that Science & Technology play significant role in shaping our life and in contributing towards the socio economic development of our nation. Hence the need of the hour is generating knowledge, sharing our knowledge and applying our knowledge for the economic benefit of our society. In this endeavour the Technical Education Institutions of our nation have important role to convert the Science of yesterday as the Technology of today and the Wealth of tomorrow.
It is heartening to note that the Singhania University has established in the desert serene base of Pacheri Bari in Jhunjhunu district, Rajasthan has grown remarkably well over the years and has offered quality technical, management and allied education to meet the challenges in the context of globalization.
I am very happy to join the Singhania University as the first Pro Chancellor in developing it as centre of Academic Excellence and meeting the challenges and exploiting the opportunities in Technical and allied Education in our country. This university has plans to implement innovative teaching and learning processes by adopting the recent advances in Science & Technology. Academic excellence, Value inculcation and care for brothers and sisters from the weaker section in the neighborhood are the focused areas of attention.
I wish singhania University a grand success in all their endeavours to put technical and allied education on the right path and reach greater heights.
